He did.

But one of Beecher, Morton or Lomberg is probably going to sit. Will be interesting to see who it is.

One thing, Lomberg is enough of a pro to know that if he does get scratched, it's a numbers issue and not a punishment.

Beecher can sit.

He's new to the org. Will have to learn systems and such. No need to rush him into the lineup.

Its a back to back get the fresh legs in...you don't claim a player to sit

Also, they lost 5-2...somebody can sit

Losing sucks. They really set us up last year with their great play. I expected a lot more from them this year. Very disappointing.

If you are bringing Beecher in, it has to be for Sharo or Frost with how bad they played. But I would still just not bring him in lol.
Beecher is Lomberg but bigger and non stone hands.

Im a Lomberg fan but let's get the 24 year old in vs the 30 year old who sat alot for Florida. Like I said Love Lomberg BUT on that 4th line one of these things are not like the others. He has had a few good games but he's on the leader board in hits for a reason. You only get on the hit learder board because you don't have the puck. He has alot of hits but he's only 5'9". You watch the hits they are not exactly wearing out the defensive line. Also he is here to throw fists. Hes had a bout or 2 but where was he on any of the questionable hits on Parekh? Did Niddniederreiter even get a chat? Folingno? Folingno was a clean hit but set the tone. Hes not winning board battles he's not setting up chances .

I'd rather a bigger guy come in that does the same #### but when he hits you feel it. Lombergs got alot of hits but they don't seem to phase players. Lombergs not in the cards long term . This 24 year old kid that has the same style of play could be. The Flames missed out on peak Lomberg. Lomberg was great in the AHL for Calgary but only after 1 year with the big team they let him go UFA.

Lomberg is exactly the type of vet that can play well and you understand why he sits out. He was sat out in Florida alot except his last year there. He was even sat out of the playoffs regardless he played a full 82 games.

Edit: after watching every Beecher Highlight I could find I feel Klapka and him could be very effective together. Beecher seems to have great hockey sense for passing and finding the open man. 2 big guys with speed and size with skill could be very impressive very well for this team. He really looks like he was Bostons Klapka but with more vision. Looks like it's just a number game he got caught up in.

I honestly can't see why thw Bruins didn't keep Beecher. They have the most bizarre lineup. On paper they are not so great and thw stats per player are not that great either to be where thry are in the standings. Then you see Pastrnak , Geekie and Zacha are realy propping that team up. Kinda like how Kadri,JH and Coranato did last year for the Flames.

He's just mad that Bedard is only 7 points behind his point prediction of 36 points before the season started.

With the crap new systems the coaches introduced this year most players will be more effective if they don’t know them.

You don’t know what “systems” Huska is using.

Special shoutout to Kuznetsov. He belongs, and a much better partner for Weegar than Hanley. Keep them together and let them cook. That way Kuznetsov can have some NHL experience and prop up Parekh when he comes back (whenever he does). Maybe it's too much or too soon of me to say, but I think his Wrangler days should be over. He's more than capable of being a #3-#6 defenseman (#3 being the ceiling). I project him as a #4/5.

Seems to me the fourth line was double shifted in the third period. Good for them, but a sad statement on top three lines.

Klapka is emerging as a real force.

Zary is regressing. Hope he isn’t already washed.
