So after tonights games, there have been exactly 1000 games played. Of those 1000 games exactly 200 have gone to Overtime/Shootout. So exactly 20% of games end up going beyond 60 minutes.
Home teams cumulatively are 550-350-100 on the season.
Road Teams cumulatively are 450-450-100 on the season.
Over a pretty large sample size the average game is giving up 2.2 points per game making it so that a 0.550 points percentage is essentially getting half of all the available points.
Though it was pretty fascinating how after 2000 games just how round the numbers are.
Maybe the league is fixed...
