Does anybody else think Gilles Duceppe sounds like Mickey from Snatch?

"Right. And she's terribly partial to the periwinkle blue. Have I made myself clear, lads?"

Whoa, Mr. Martin gets a little hot under the collar. Nice to finally see some honest passion there. Harper hit him pretty good with the "You wouldn't debate" thing there at the end.

You know, I had the chance to meet Layton on a couple of occassions, and from talking with him I could tell that he is man of ideas. The guy has a green vision, and I can really respect him for that.

But man oh man, he sinks the NDP boat a little bit with his style during these debates.

I mean, if you are Layton and the NDP, all you have to do is sell your policies and you will sway those on the left side. How many Canadians don't want more environment friendly policies like creating green jobs?

Jeez.

Layton needs to work on his persona in the media. If he put his ideas across intelligently on T.V. the way he does in person, the NDP would be a lot better off.

So is Alberta a nation as well? Or just Quebec, Metis, Acadians, First Nations etc?

Layton sounds like a two hour commercial with all his 'third choice' bs. Oh my God. Makes me want to pull my hair out.

anybody noticed that Harper doesn't get crapped on as much of the rest. It seems like a fairly smart idea for him as he sure doesn't come across over TV as someone who many Canadians would want as a PM. The more he sticks within his slotted time and keeps out of the limelight the better it may be for him in the long run as the other three candidates are doing a good job of making themselves look foolish.

Greens really should be at these debates. They deserve to be an awful lot more than the Bloc do.

Wow, did the moderator guy just burn Layton? I wasn't expecting that, lol. Really called him on the 3rd choice, send more NDP's to parliament crap.

That was a bit of a slap in the face from the moderator there. I think he just got the best lick in!

Of course they do. 12 years of promising a child care program in their platform, and it looks like they might actually do it this time. We just have to elect them every election and let time take its course. It doesn't really matter if it takes 2 years or 20 does it? lol

They also removed GST right? That was a platform policy in almost every election with the exception of the Martin minority last election I believe. Wait, still waiting for that as well.

That snake oil can't possibly be sold though WCE. The cost of an NDP government has been seen in BC and Sask before.

While his GOALS are commendable, the end doesn't justify the means.
