When Sharangovich is back one of Costco or Rooney is sitting. They are both essentially the same player. Bottom 6 journeymen.

Pospisil is not going to be playing on the 4th line. Unless he starts taking dumb penalties again and they are sending him a message.

Not sure where Honzek fits.

I'm pretty sure Honzek fits in the AHL until there's a trade or a long-term injury. He's never played at that level, so it's not like he has nothing to learn there.

100% this.

It looks to be mostly on Kadri, because is usually the puck carrier, but I think it is their system/strategy - they do exactly the same thing, every time: Kadri carries it up the left side, with Huberdeau beside him on the left boards. Kadri either tries to stickhandle through the D (that is overloaded on that side), or he dumps it to Huberdeau, who is standing still at the blueline, and has a defender on him before he can do anything. In either case, it is broken up almost every time.

It is so painful to watch them keep trying the same play, over and over, with the same results.

Yeah, the pass needs to be to a forward crossing on the far side, after drawing defenders away from him. Too often puck carriers skate towards Huberdeau and then make a little dump pass after bringing defenders to him. So the carrier looks good "I made my pass" and Huberdeau is buried by a defender and has to either make a seeing eye pass or chuck it around the boards. And if it then gets picked off everyone is "Huberdeau gives it away again".
