Can someone who is high on Morin give me a bit of a summary - I don't know much about him. It looks like his production dropped a lot last season, but there could be a lot of reasons for that.

Franchise Player
|
Smooth skating, average size, good on the line, high hockey IQ, can quarterback a PP (in junior at least), and throws some big hits.
Very similar player to Weegar, IMO.
Derailed a bit by injuries last year, and never got rolling like the year before. This year will be very interesting to watch.

He generates a very high amount of shots for a Dman as well. He was on a pretty low scoring team this year which I think hurt his point totals.

I love that they're targeting this type of player. You need to have compliments to the offensive guys. As good as our blue line prospects are, we do not have all around much up beasts.
I would have paid nearly any price to get the 10 from NJ and pair Parekh with Silayev. Hopefully Grush can bring that type of flavor.
