I'm so happy to hear that he got the help he needed, and it's exciting to have him back. He adds so much to our D, and his return automatically makes the team better IMO. It might take him several games to get used to playing again, but I'm pumped to see him back on the ice.

Yup, other than a few nosey people, I commend most people for recognizing that this is a young man's life at stake and he was doing what he needed to do to take care of it. Don't really care about the team losing a d-man. Other things in life are so much more important to prioritize. It's fine to ask where he was, but his privacy needed to be respected and I think most of us could read between the lines that this was a serious issue.
Glad OK is OK!

With Gaudreau gone, Kylington is the most entertaining player on the team IMO. Happy to have him back. Hope his health progress can help him take a next step professionally as well. Dude has a ton of talent.

I love what the Flames have always done. Despite possible risks they see the person in front of them first and then the ability on the ice.
Huska will get help him shake off the rust as will his team mates .
I'd love to see Shill get a standing O . The amount of courage it takes to go full transparency on this makes it an even better story....makes the comeback even more monumental.
Welcome back kid. Your gonna help.

I am just glad he is back and appreciate his explanation, even though he didn’t have to. Hopefully coming back helps move him forward both peronally and professionally.

Just awesome stuff to see Kylington speak openly about this. I'm cheering for him.

I'm super excited to have that Tanev-OK pairing back. They were dynamite in his last season. Perfect balance between that smart stay at home defender and a guy that could join the rush like a 4th forward.
Speaking of Tanev, I hope he heals up his plethora of bumps and bruises he accumulated last season and can come in somewhere close to 100%.
The long offseason should help

Someone saying these issues Kylington faced sounds like something they have dealt with is hardly gossiping or rumor spreading. Chill out. Garbage like this is exactly why people don't want to share or seek help these days.

Everything I've read about his family situation is that they are extremely tight knit and supportive.
Some CP user: "must be because of a disapproving / toxic family environment because I've dealt with this"
Give your head a shake and stop projecting.

Nothing says beating mental illness like being on a boat with three ladies in bikinis.
I hope all is well with him and he is ready for training camp.

I'd like to see Kylington sign an extension... as a show of good will given that the team stood by him. He doesn't have to (business is business) of course, but it would give the team some roster stability going forward.

Granted, he looks fit, but I still am concerned about his timing and taking a year off of playing.
Its one thing to be physically fit but its another entirely to be NHL game-ready.
