Dude...I'm not going to disagree with you, but my God do old people love it.

I dont know why. I went there once and at one point thought that there was a serious possibility that my ass-cheeks might melt together.

I also dont like Golf.

You can hear the soles of your shoes melting on the pavement.

Its like a real-life game of 'The Floor is Lava.'

Its madness. Pure madness.

Ehh heat is something you can get used to quite a lot. I'll take the sunshine and heat over the winter darkness any day of the year.

Old people? They are literally getting 3rd degree burns if their skin accidentally touches the pavement in Phoenix.

Sure, but this is the thing, Calgary is one of the sunniest cities around.

Even when its insanely cold we often still have clear, sunny skies. In fact, its often less sunny in the summer when most of the countryside happens to be on fire.

In places that hot you do everything you wanna do outside between 7 and 11 am and then 6 and 11 pm. Stay inside and siesta for midday. Works well for old people as they don’t have to go to work and tend to be early risers.

Oh I wasn't comparing to Calgary just my own experiences living in Finland vs. warm weather. Finland has #### weather about nine months of the year and half a year is dark with couple of month really dark, even in the southern part. Having sunshine all around the year is such a game changer and if it comes with too much heat for a few months I couldn't care less lol.

Folks know this isn’t a real conversation right? Uncle Jordan is effing around (mostly) and y’all take the bait.
Yeah, once I realized he's playing a character and to not take it seriously I actually started to enjoy his posts on CP.

Jesus, not me. Phoenix heat is soul crushing. Every building is heated and you can dress for any outside temperature and be completely warm. But outside in extreme heat? Nothing you can do except escape it indoors.

The Arizona desert is a brutal place on earth for most of the year. Just awful. "It's awesome, but just make sure you book your golf round for before 8am or you're ****ed!". Yeah sounds just ****ing great.

No one else could beat this? Really?

NHL GMs are very, very stupid.

A stupid one just signed this contract luckily for them it's 1 year.

Ever since he tore his pec vs the Flames Dumba has been on a free fall.

It's beautiful during hockey season. Wouldn't want to live there in the summer, though.

I live in a desert climate and yeah, it's pretty brutal for three months or so. I'm never going to get used to it for sure but try to spend a month in Finland every summer to get best of both worlds. And it's not really even the hot weather but the continuous heat for weeks without any variety. But I would still never change climates, the darkness is literally depressing in the winter in Finland and you're lucky to get a month of warm weather in the summer. Then all the rain and grayness... no thanks

He really isn’t that good anymore. This was more than I expected he would get considering how long he has been left unsigned.

But he's not that good anymore, it's just name recognition at this point. Which is the whole league's Achilles heal.

Seems like more often than not that guys who sign this 1 year prove it deal end up getting less on their next one. There are exceptions, like Gudbransson...but more often it's another steep discount on a one year deal next summer that happens.
