I think you just insert your card in the slot and then remove it quickly.

Which is basically the issue with this. It isn't replacing cash, debit, or e-transfers? What problem is this trying to solve?

I feel like with a lot of crypto stuff, the answer is, "because it's blockchain!!?!?!" as if that's a reason for something be drastically superior to the existing system that does the same thing perfectly well...

I guess digital currencies are only hip and cool when Poilievre suggests it.

I sort of think this seems like the type of thing he'd be in favor of for no discernible reason?

I'd put myself down as not really opposed, but there don't seem to be any benefits either.

I sort of feel like the gif of Ryan Reynolds saying, "but why?" Applies here...

Yeah, I agree. It’s dumb no matter who suggests it, but found it funny that Yoho suddenly is no longer in favour of it now.

I don’t see the point of it. Unless it can be somehow implemented to prevent theft, for which it is demonstrably making it easier, our current system of moving money electronically seems fine.

If anyone promises something is un-hackable, laugh and walk away.

Nothing in the history of mankind is un-hackable. Now introduce AI that can try to hack and learn 24hrs a day and get better.

We have seen it with Bitcoin. People are the weak link. Social engineering is a hack.

Anyways again if anyone says un-hackable…
