these 2 players also don't qualify (although I wish the latter did) but they both represent different scenarios that haven't fully been mentioned before I don't think
1. Mike Eaves- variant on retirement scenario- he was coaching the Flames (AC) when he got called back into duty in the 86 playoffs when the injuries started piling up- interesting it was the injury to Carey Wilson (who does qualify here) that pushed Eaves back onto the ice
2. Steve Bozek- one of my favorite non-star/front line player of the mid 80s flames teams- he was involved in 4 different trades with the Flames (3 in one calendar year, 2 on the same day) that had him traded by the Flames either for or with the following (among others): Brett Hull, Doug Gilmour, Paul Reinhart, Mike Bullard, Rob Ramage, Mark Hunter, Kevin Lavallee, Rick Wamsley etc etc...they flipped him right after acquiring him the 2nd time (packaging him and Reinhart for a pick-ugh, thank god they won round one that year)
