Yup, it’s like some people care more about Edmonton losing than the Flames winning.

L.A. only has one more game against a playoff team left this season. So maybe they can recover and finish 6-2 in these last 8. I would like to see Vegas miss out and unravel in a bunch of infighting for their cap mismanagement that forced a guy like Stone to sit when he could have been playing. But if I had to watch two teams bludgeon each other to near death....Vegas and Edmonton killing each other might be entertaining.

The Capitals have won 3 straight games and are closing in on the Bruins and Penguins for higher seed in the eastern conf.

The Stars get a much needed win to stay in a playoff spot. They were 2/2 on the PP and fired 40 shots at the Bhawks goalies. Robertson had 3 points. They were only 4 minor penalties, all of them in the 1st period.

The Predators can blame their non existent PP as they went 0/4. Big save Dave was in net for Nashville and had a decent game. Rakell and Crosby had 3 points each in the OT win.

The Hurricanes got out of their mini slump by defeating the Ducks 5-2. Staal with the hat trick as the Hurricanes fired 43 shots on goal. The win puts them 2 points up on the Rangers for 2nd place in the eastern conf.

The Wild lit the Kings up after the Kings had everything going for them halfway through the 1st period. It was 6-3 for the Wild.

Bryan Elliot gets the 28 save SHUTOUT as the Bolts beat the Sabres 5-0.

The Jets scrape by the Senators 4-3 in reg time. Both teams had 2 PPGs each.

Beyond round 1, all teams are good, and are playing good playoff hockey (or they wouldn't have won in round 1).

So I am no more concerned about playing Vegas than any other team in the west, other than COL. And that being the case, yes, '#### Edmonton' still applies.

Not really worried about either. They each have some weapons and suspect goaltending. It's basically Stone and Patches versus the wonder twins. Eichel isn't really a concern for me, at least, no more than RNH. Vegas has better D, but not world-beaters.

Given all that, I'm all for Edmonton humiliation.

I think Malkin probably sees a game or 2 suspension for his cross-check.
