Crucial win for the squad. It will make my Sunday evening repast much more gooder.

When was the last time a flames backup played two games in a row when the main guy was good to go.

Richardson is not the answer, and Brad has to either be willing to see what he has internally or he'll be bleeding more assets at the deadline for a 4C
Nah they were good too, nothing bad about todays game

It’s gonna be a super short PGT. No whipping boys to complain about.

Great win to set the table for big games in PHI, NYI and BOS.

Scorp tweeted out that Mony has 8 points in his last 10 games...maybe we can give him a break as the whipping boy?

Partial credit for the SO to Monahan and one other Flame (Hanifin?) who both stopped goals in scrambles.

Can't afford to lose games like that one. Good to see them get the two points.

Vladar was outstanding. Also thought Monahan had a very strong game.

I thought that was exactly the game the Flames needed to play. Vladar was good but I think pretty much any goalie in the NHL wins that game and most get the shutout.

Zadorov was good which is a good surprise.

Good win, boys!

Great to see Vladar get rewarded with a shutout, after his strong performances to start of the season.

Monahan played solid in all 3 zones tonight. His best game of the season IMO.

Lindholm woke up in a big way, 1g,2 pts, +1, 5 shots, 1 takeaway, 71% in the dot (15 wins, 6 losses).

Flames needed this game, glad the guys played hard and helped Danny Vladar get that first shutout, they deserved this win.

The few times the Flames played poorly Darth bailed 'em out or they lucked out. A little step on the road back to playing a consistent and harassing game.

Sutter is the best of the best. His teams aren't overly structured but they play with strategy and intensity. This will be the second time he's given the Flames an identity. Let's take care of business and get the cup home to Canada
