I think this is a good deal for both sides. Avs get a discount and Landeskog stays where he wants. He probably could have got $8.5 or $9 x 7 somewhere else but I'm not sure that bit of extra money is improving his life more than playing on a very good Avs team.

I'd like to imagine what Johnny's production looks like on a line with a leaguewide top 3 centre and top 3 winger. conversely, I'd like to see what Landeskog's output looks like on the Monahan Ritchie line.
