NHL hockey is primarily a stick checking league now.

Come on, you could play the whole game against Ottawa without a goaltender in net and stand a pretty good shot at shutout.

Dorian has done a lot of good work the last year or so, but that Murray contract.....oof.

Bah. Edmonton got a cheap powerplay and scores. Montreal looks horrible right now. No pressure at all.

Usually in Montreal the calls seem to favor the Habs, unless they are playing the Oilers, the darlings of the league.

Funny Oilers fans complain of our horseshoes when they are the ones getting away with all the calls.

Okay, don't look now, but the Panthers beat the red hot Lightning tonight pretty convincingly. They're now one point back in the central.

I know that the Hurricanes and Stars will likely be healthy competition this year, but it may appear to be a battle of Florida for the division this year.

Verhaege continues to be a revelation, but it would just be so the Panthers M.O. to trade this burgeoning talent to Seattle in exchange for them selecting Keith Yandle in the expansion draft. Let's hope they learned their lesson the last time.

The Kings lead 3-0 and it is in the first period! No bite from the Sharks.

Love to see it. A lot of talent on that team.

Just saw today's scores. How the f*** did Edmonton get another win? Did Montreal just completely crap the bed or something?

Don't forget the Habs played the Leafs last night while the Oilers rested up.

For such a powerful fast skater, McDavid has weak ankles, and clearly has vertigo, I mean he must be dizzy and weak, a stiff breeze hits and he falls over. the tries to get his bearings by locating the ref.
