A round on day 2 takes like an hour doesnt it? Hopefully I can see rounds 2 to 4 before I have to go to work.

I would not be shocked if Rittich is traded today, but I would not think he is a cap dump. He still has a lot of value as a good backup.

IMO players who are left of the "late first early second" tier.
25. Marat Khusnutdinov C
26. Jan Mysak RW
27. Ryan ORourke D
28. Noel Gunler RW
31. John Jason Peterka RW
33. Vasily Ponomaryov LW
37. Helge Grans D
38. Luke Evangelista RW
IMO the "really very good second rounder" tier.
39. William Wallinder D
40. Samuel Colangelo RW
41. Tyler Kleven D
42. Thomas Bordeleau C
43. Yan Kuznetsov D
44. Martin Chromiak RW
45. William Villeneuve D
IMO the "look! second rounders!" tier.
46. William Dufour RW
47. Ty Smilanic C
48. Topi Niemela D
49. Alex Cotton D
50. Ronan Seeley D
51. Jeremie Poirier D
52. Tuke Tuch LW
53. Tristen Robins C
54. Pavel Novak LW
55. Justin SourdifC
56. Dmitri Zlodeyev C
57. Will Cuylle LW
58. Jean-Luc Foudy C
59. Emil Heineman LW
60. Carter Savoie LW
61. Zayde Wisdom RW
If we get one of the first group with the Flames second round pick, I will be ecstatic. If it's one of the second group I will be happy. If we get any of the third group in the third round, I will once again be excited about how well they are drafting.

I doubt they trade Rittich until they have an NHL calibre goalie under contract.

Hard not to draft William Villeneuve with his stats and 2-way game.
I realize some sources have him ranked as a 3rd/4th rounder, but you don't lead the Q in defense scoring by accident.

if you have telus tv and have sportsnet in your tv package, you can watch on watchoptik.telus.com
... or at least it should work, isn't for me for some reason now.

I watched the draft on sportsnet.ca yesterday. You can log in with your cable provider.

For 33 (OTT) or 34 (SJ), something like:
#72 + 2021 2nd + 2022 5th
Thinking mostly at SJ - future picks are more valuable currency for them than a prospect who loses half it's value when you drive him off the lot.
We'd keep #50 this year. We need picks to payoff sooner than either team above.

Conroy saying that they have some players targeted at 50 but if there is a chance to move up he could see Brad doing it.
Depending on how the first 3 or 4 picks (of the 2nd round go) there may be an opportunity to move up.

I don't even have a TV package anymore and was able to watch the whole playoffs and first round on Sportsnet website with my Shaw internet login for some (awesome) reason.

NHL.com shows Flames drafting 3 times in the 3rd round right now:
72, 80, 81 (shows Chicago at 79 and still has Oilers at 76)
