Let the over analysis begin!
I will start; it's good to get the team back out there and mimicking as best they can, the game day timings they'll be seeing in a couple weeks, and the structure within the game for shift timing and an attempt at shaking off even a bit of game rust after 4 months.
But that's about it. With clearly a lot of rust on all of the players including goalies, and a lack of intensity and hitting for the most part, among a lot of other things missing from an NHL game against an opponent who you're trying to, right away, win 3 out of 5 games against, it's best to refrain from digging too deep into this or making statements into player, or line, x or y.

Tonight's game was, IMO, the closest thing to a 2019-20 Flames Superskills event - guys playing hockey and kind of having fun. Difference is no fans for obvious reasons.

Too bad this was not streamed, I would of watched.
With that said when have the calgary flames ever streamed anything that was better than 2010 tech? Team is worth over 500 million yet still can not stream a hockey game.
Nice to see hockey back. Not sure how long it will last. I hope it last though.
Is it an essential service? As a Canadian it kind of is. Part of our culture. Disagree? Why are you on a hockey forum posting?
I hope this all works out well.
Was really nice seeing something hockey related tonight.
