Who is on their way out now? I really want to see Bennett for another year, to see if theirs a breakout pending. If the flames bring in neal, lindholm, czarnik, ryan with Ferland, and ? out, where ? isn't Bennett/Jankowski then I'll be pretty satisfied with the offseason.
He’s not fast, will have by far the best shot on the team and uses his body well. Plays great when complimenting 2 other good players. It’s a perfect fit for the top line.
I'm happy with the signing. This really helps push guys down the lines and adds a ton of talent to the bottom 6.

I think they'll do something like Mangipane + Brouwer +3rd rounder for a 3rd or 4th from another team. They're going to have to make some room on the roster and with the cap

World class shot, but not a guy who drives a line on his own. He will bury it more often than not when he's set up, and protects the puck very very well. Isn't afraid to play chippy.
The perfect fit for Gaudreau and Monahan, honestly.

(Its not fair...its just not fair!)
Wow, this is unbelievable! The term is no big deal at all, you simply deal with it at that time. More importantly to me, the cap is is very manageable.
I was looking at the lineup last night and everything kept coming back to: "if we just had one more asset, one goal scorer, this lineup would all fall into place. If only there was some way we could get Neal".
This is fantastic! The Flames are actual competitors now. Here is what I was looking at for a lineup (order doesn't really matter, what matters is the depth throughout):
What was essentially our 4th line last year, is now our 5th. I have Ryan and Frolik slotted on the 4th line together - that is fricking crazy depth!
I am so pumped. Treliving has taken a forward group that, though it had some good pieces, just didn't have the depth to be competitive, and in one week, turned it into a roster that rivals almost any.
Kudos good sir!
