You’d think this would be a great opportunity for Jankowski, Bennett , Backlund , Ferland etc to step up.

Take the top three scorers off any team and you’ll likely have a similar result.
I think the Flames are better than their record shows, but they clearly aren’t as good as we thought they were.

So how are they better than their record? Without Smith’s early season heroics this is a bottom 5 team.
