I have also heard this ... he is a coach with a short shelf life as many very demanding coaches are. While I don’t want the players hating the coach, I also don’t want the players calling the coach by his nickname as if they are best buds.

Team completely lost their composure. Johnny had the right to be livid but he had to let it go. One thing that is crystal clear without Gaudreau the Flames look VERY slow.

Dan Bylsma took over the Penguins in February of ‘09.
We can fire Gully in March. It’s illogical to continue to employ the man.
Why do you dress Stewart and Glass, and then play them what? 12 minutes combined?
Why do you take Bennett off the 1st line last night in favour of a waiver wire pick-up?
Such bizarre, stupid decisions. What a bad coach.

No? Their point total went down tonight. Bummer.
They were never going 18-1 folks.
Lots of hockey to determine this thing. Plenty of games against teams in the mix.
This is far from over. But hey, lose a couple and think the worst has been status quo here.

Hard reality check the last couple of weeks. Smith has been Clark Griswold at the Hoover dam all year and, with him out, the holes are exposed.
Big changes needed in the offseason. Bottom 6 is terrible. Defence is overrated. Coaching brutal too.
Team just isn’t very good.

The only real fun thing to watch was glass trying to break 2 players, one being a flame, early in the game.
Other than that, this team isn't fast enough, aren't skilled enough.
Season is over.

Why do you pull the goalie, get a power play, then put the goalie back in? Or at least pull Rittich again as soon as you gain control after the faceoff? You are down two goals, with 3 minutes left - the goalie should ALWAYS be pulled on a powerplay.
Terrible reffing.
Goaltending not quite good enough.

And another bottom-feeding team passes the Flames in the standings... A long climb up and with the way the Flames are playing there's no reason to believe they can do it. Season about to end for us - better luck I mean effort next year.

Tkachuk was in the box all night taking unnecessary penalties, changing momentum and that was that. Battled the puck and the refs to boot. This ship has some major leaks in it and they need to be plugged soon!
Can't wait for the 'we need to be better' 'we need to play a full 60 minutes' quotes after this one.

People blaming GG on games like tonight, make me wonder just how much they know about hockey.
I don't like some of his decisions, but way too many "passengers" tonight. Tonights loss is more on Tkachuk than on GG. Most selfish game I've seen him play. And Hamonic (I love the guy) but way too weak on a couple plays.

Just fire GG. At least I want to watch a good game. Not this passive uninspired game.

It has nothing to do with moral victories. I think you're missing the point of the Tweet.
Flames are allowing goals despite not allowing grade A chances. The goaltending is not getting the job done unfortunately.
Flames allowed 5 high danger chances vs Vegas, yet Rittich allowed 7.
