wait, is this hurt in my butt the smashing of the patriarchy?
Are you white? If you aren't it appears you still may be due for a smashing but not necessarily in the butt. I think....but I can't be sure as this ideology is kind of new to me.
Which of the following starements is racist?
[_] Black men should not be allowed to vote.
[_] Brown men should not be alowed to vote.
[_] White men should not be alowed to vote.
[x] All 3 statements are racist.

Then how do you know there's some real butthurt white males in this thread?
I think you're deeply confused. "Some" doesn't mean "all." If you say "there are some really ripe oranges in that fruitbasket," you're not saying "that fruit basket is all oranges."
There may be males of many colours, there may be females, that doesn't mean there can't be some butt hurt white males.
In the end it doesn't matter. As a white male myself it's still an interesting article, but what is funnier is the automatic "that's racist/offensive/etc" from a few of the same people who would rather drink from a cowboy boot than humour another millennial claiming something is racist or offensive.
Doesnt have to be White Men. Just Have an age cutoff of 70 for Voting. Anyone over 70 cant vote.
65 seems fine to me. If 15 year olds can't vote, why can 70 year olds? Usually they have the same understanding of the world.
Sorry sir/mam, we'll take your voting rights now, but you'll be happy to know you now qualify for some steep discounts at Denny's. Enjoy your grand slam!

As for being confused no. There could be none though for all the poster knows seeing the basket is covered it could have been muffins, not even fruit. That's certainly an interesting perspective especially since that there's really not much of that going on at all in this thread. I think if anything most of us think she's kind of nuts.

When you single out a group of people based solely on their skin colour that pretty much defines racism no?
Take the statement "Black males should not be allowed to vote" and try to justify it.

Of course it's racial and sexual discrimination. Where did I say otherwise?
Nope, no difference at all in the 2016 Presidential election if white men didn't vote. Clinton only wins by nearly 200 electoral votes in that hypothetical.
Not saying I support this woman's premise, but to say it wouldn't affect things very much is...not quite accurate.

I was discussing this with a friend earlier this week. How about we go back to the old 3/5ths vote for anyone over 65. The elected officials you're voting for at that point will only have an effect on a small part of your life, whereas for a 20 year old, for example, Trump and his SCOTUS pick will affect much of the rest of his or her life.
And let's be honest, plenty of the 70 year olds who voted for Trump couldn't possibly care less about the damage he'll do to the planet, while there are people my age honestly unsure about having kids because god only knows where we'll be 40 years from now due to this disaster of an administration.

In a scenario where white men can't vote, presumably they can't run for office either. Who can say what a Clinton vs Rubio race would have looked like?

Someone explain the goalposts here. Are we talking about males not being able to vote but run for president/prime minister against a female in a field of only female voters? Not exactly a shocking revelation that a majority of females would vote for a female candidate over a male. Turn the tables and the majority of men would also vote for the man over a woman.
I'm willing to bet that if you have and all female vote and two female candidates, one mediocre and the other terrible that there's still going to be plenty of uninformed/misinformed women voting for the worser candidate. They may be female but the are still human and prone to the same idiocies as males.
Just look at how great Zimbabwe is doing since blaming whites for everything and driving them out. But some people only care about crafting a righteous narrative - reality and outcomes be damned.

I find it a little disturbing how some folks in this thread seem to be working themselves up towards a lather because of a stupid opinion piece by a largely insignificant person.
