In my opinion there are 3 trades the Flames should be looking to make
1- find an age appropriate long term forward they can add to the top 6
2- trade veterans and pending UFA's for assets
3- acquire cheap rental options
4- upgrade goaltending

Flames have space in the forward ranks to add prior to the expansion draft so perhaps a team like Tampa as I have mentioned would be willing to part with a Tyler Johnson?

If they are cheap I wouldn't mind guys like Sharp or Oduya in Dallas. I support Iginla as an option as well considering the cost should be cheap.

I would trade Engellend, Versteeg, or a goalie if we can get 2nd rounders in return. I take anything for Wideman and Chaisson.

Flames should be open for business looking at buying and selling. At this point I still keep the core together and not shop the top 3D or our young forwards but picks, prospects, and veterans are all in play

Am I crazy? It seems like defenceman always go for a premium on trade deadline day. So I think Engelland can get us two 2nd rounders while Wideman can get us a 3rd rounder

You are not crazy at all, a team like the San Jose Sharks, might just give you two 2nd Round Picks for Engelland.

The Blues are on a roll, like what they will give you for Elliot and Engelland.
