I missed most of the game, but the two goals I saw looked pretty stoppable. Must have missed some earlier beauties in the first two periods if he's getting player of the game.

He had some great saves in the first two. Plus he stoned them in the SO.

Hathaway was partially (possibly 50% at fault, the rest on the Chad) responsible for the Pens 1st goal, but your point still stands.

Close game, could have gone either way really. Wasn't a fan of the OT PP strategy of just taking slapshots from the right circle. Thrilled with the result though, Johnson robbed two of the best shooters in the game in the SO.

I really hope after the break the Flames pick a goalie and stick with him. Try and get one of these guys on a run. Not a fan of this win and your in approach.

Based on the current OOT scores, with StL 5 @ OTT 0 (3rd), the Flames will finish the night in wild card spot #2. Will they still be in a spot by the next game on Monday?

Could complain but won't -- getting two points on the road against one of the best teams in the league is a great result no matter how it happens.
Versteeg was filthy on that shootout winner. Nice to see the swagger.

They better chiggity-check themselves before they wreck themselves, Cotton.
Best part was Ferly stripping Crosby. Great win!

It's a good time for a break.. seems like we have had games in hand on teams for a while now.

The 1st goal never ever should've gone in whatsoever. The 2nd one wasn't great but not one I'd call a stinky goal.

I don't mind it. If a guy goes on a run, he's winning and he's in.
The PO year they went with the hot hand and it worked well.

Flames are 4-1-0 with that strategy. It's working so far.

Ferland must be walkin' three feet above the ground! Quite a goal! He likely won't strip Syd and take it for a breakaway goal too many times in his career!

Yep. I can handle this. Annoying, but not premeditated by Murray. Not like Hasek lifting the net off the pegs with his shoulders.

In most cases though that isn't the case. As soon as a goalie knows his strap is loose he'll shake it off to get play stopped. If it's still tight enough to fit on your head you should have to play through it.
