Woo hoo! Granlund still paying dividends for Flames fans. Good for him.
Impressive he's on the ice with a lead late in the game

Oh man that one game we have against VAN might decide where the two teams stand in relation to each other in the end. VAN still gets to play the Oilers twice! We get them once. Could be close.

The 5 point buffer we have with Buffalo is nice.
Calgary's remaining games: EDM, LA, VAN, MIN: Maybe 2 wins.
Winnipeg's : CHI, MIN, ANA, SJ, LA... yikes. Maybe they can win 1.
Vancouver: ANA, LA, EDM, CGY, EDM. Maybe 2 wins?
Columbus: CAR, NYR, TOR, BUF, CHI. Maybe 2 wins?
Toronto: DET, FLA, CBJ, PHI, NJ. Maybe 1 win?
Edmonton: CGY, VAN, VAN. Maybe 1 win?
I'm predicting:
25. Calgary 74
26. Vancouver 73
27. Columbus 72
28. Winnipeg 71
29. Edmonton 69
30. Toronto 69 (has fewer ROW than Edmonton)
Although if Edmonton beats us and we get our 1 win against Vancouver for example it gets crazy tight:
25. Vancouver 73
26. Calgary 72
27. Columbus 72
28. Winnipeg 71
29. Edmonton 71
30. Toronto 69

Pretty important that CBJ and Toronto game goes into OT.
i'll say it now, the Oilers have a bit of swagger in the city right now. It's 100% because of Patrick Maroon. Don't know why, not saying it is deserved, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Oilers win all 3 of their remaining games.

Good post AC. Only place I'll disagree is maybe you aren't giving TOR enough credit. They are 6-4 in their last ten, no pushover.

Good point, I hadn't considered that.
Detroit, Florida, and Philly are desperate. I wouldn't expect wins there. Maybe Columbus and Florida turn into wins.

The inverse standings will really come down to the wire it seems. Crazy how hard it is to finish last. I have no idea how the Oilers make it look so easy.
