Well, Sharks contacted 12 different teams and could only managed 3 minor leaguer trades.

Definitely not how I expected this trade deadline to shake down.

Go figure. 13th time is a charm.

Richardson was a member of the struggling/rebuilding Sharks team. Now he's a member of the playoff bound team. One of the few who can say they played on both.

The Wild have shipped European Jere Salinen + 4th in exchange for CPHL veteran Danius Zubrus.
Thanks to PMM so responding so quick late in the game.
A far more active deadline day than I anticipated for the Wild. I think I'm done now.

Carolina Hurricanes acquired Johan Franzen from the Chicago Black Hawks for a 2016 3rd round pink

We're making a run for the playoffs

To the Hurricanes surprise we traded Montreal pick, we meant to trade Nashville's. But when we rechecked our team we don't own Nashville pick. So we traded the right pick but thought it was a different one. Aiin't blur spots fun, keeps things interesting
