What does the 80's have to do with bringing back one of the best jerseys in NHL history? I'd like to see the team develop some tradition and keep the original jerseys as their full time uniforms. The fact they won their only cup is just a bonus. You don't see Montreal or Chicago messing with great classic uniforms. Even the Islanders got their poop together and went back to the classic uniform, the one they dominated the league in. Bring back the originals.

Take the current third template, put the Flaming C on the chest, keep the shoulder patches, and retire the current primary set. Then use the retros as the alternate. win-win.

Would prefer keeping current third, making retro full time. But I would also be very okay with this.

Can't say I like the third jerseys but the funny thing is I've actually come to dislike them a lot less than when they first came out. I think it's the tone of red that I like.

I actually like the thirds. It's the home and away that need to be retired. I am done with the flags and the black C.

Didn't mind it, not my favourite jersey ever but I liked most of it except the primary logo. Definitely better than the primary jerseys for me. The shoulder logo especially is kind of cool, I hope they find a way to keep it.

Wonder where I can pick one up, odds of findings a flames third at Jersey City here in the right size might not be great. Hopefully on sale online soon as well.

So Katz convinces his minions to all buy and wear Orange McDavid jerseys for their home opener do he can scrap them after one year. I the NDP needs to hire him as a consultant on how to take people's money and make them think you're a hero.

Plus he finds new ways to be as bad or worse than the previous year and still hold high approval ratings.

I'm really just indifferent to the thirds, which isn't really the reaction you want from fans in general. The only part I like is the shoulder patch. It's time to ditch the flags. At this point I think everyone knows Calgary is in Alberta, Canada and there really shouldn't be any blue on the uniform. Switch the flags for the new patches and call it a win.

I'd love it if they went back to the retros full-time, but also like the black C. Just clean it up a bit.

For all those who want to keep the third template and put just a "C" on the front, I could be down with that but we also need to change the numbers to some that aren't so "modern" and a 5 that isn't an upside down 2.
