The Ducks scored exactly one minute into the game to lead 1-0. Getzlaf's goal held up until early in the third period when Burakovsky scored 41 seconds into the period to tie it 1-1. It has been an entertaining game and the bonus it is going into overtime!

After a scoreless first period, the Kings lead 2-1 after forty minutes. Hamhuis scored first for the Canucks and then Kopitar and Doughty team up on both of the Kings' goals later on. The go ahead goal is a power play marker.

It is confusing to say the least. Centre Ice customers must get the three other Sportsnet regional channels and Sportsnet 360 to get all the games. It gets more complicated if you are with Shaw Cable because Sportsnet East is not offered as part of their lineup. Back on February 25, the Predators at Blackhawks game was on Sportsnet East only and thankfully that game was not taken off Centre Ice.

I am posting the games Sportsnet adds weekly through to the end of the season in the schedule thread. http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=147803

The Canucks imploded in the 3rd period and went on to lose 5-1. Kopitar was a star with 3 points. The Avs get a much needed win, 3-1 over the Coyotes. Varlamov was the reason for the win as he made 37 saves.

There is something special about scoring for the first time.

It is ridiculous in the same way Centre Ice people had to buy the CBC channels to watch HNIC games that were regionalized. The trouble last season was when some games were put on the FX channel and that really pissed off people. Hockey fans can easily gravitate to all the SN channels, but FX was obscure and not a sport channel people would even think of checking.
