Good. He shouldn't be. They are still terrible and they have an insane amount of work to before they even get slightly respectable. I hope he rips into them for having 2 terrible periods and letting in yet another late period goal. They also haven't won any regulation games at home. They need a swift kick in the pants after every single overtime game and loss. Period. Good 2 points. On to the next.

Grant very impressive tonight, think he should stay in the lineup.

Ramo - Played pretty solid aside from the weak goal.

Monahan - I don't know what is up with him. Awful at the dot and making mistakes on the ice constantly. He needs to get it together soon as he is looking like the third string centre at this point, behind Bennett and Backlund

Wideman - Again no good.

Hartley needs to stick Gaudreau and Bennett together. That's a duo made to stick. And please stop playing Bennett on the wing.

Disagree... We didn't let in 4+ goals which is a rare occurrence so far this season. Ramo looked competent tonight.

Big 2 points, but that was ugly as hell.

Lol, he did not steal this game. Rewatch the game. Flyers did not challenge him at all tonight. Most shots were from far out and into the crest on the jersey.

Terrible terrible game. Relatively ok for the most part in the defensive zone, but the transition and forward play was complete garbage. So flat, disjointed as hell. The forward line changes only sought to make things worse. This win does nothing for my confidence levels in the team. If we play as we have been doing all season, the next 5 games could get really really ugly.

We only got the win tonight because the Flyers were as poor as we are. That was a game between 2 teams who looked destined to finish in the bottom 5 this season.

Pleased we've won and pleased Backlund got a couple of points, even if they were total flukes. Hopefully that gives him a bit of jump and confidence. Gaudreau and Bennett looked good as per. Get them back together Hartley! Monahan though, is he having his sophomore slump a year late? Was giving him a 'A' the wrong move? Maybe he wasn't ready for the extra responsibility, I mean he's got enough on his plate trying to be a good defensive forward, create chances, score goals, lead the team in ice time. I think Hartley has put too much on him too soon and he's suffering for it.

I do like the defensive pairings though, might have found something there.

Glad we've won, but I don't hold much hope for our next 5.

Backlund got the winner but Monahan has been miles ahead of Backlund this year despite his poor play.

That's the kind of goaltending we've been desperate for. Very solid, no softies, good rebound control. But damn that game was awful.

Finally a 1 goal against game. Both teams looked pretty terrible at times. Ramo much better than any other game this season. Feels good man.

Johnny, Sam, Grant and Ramo get credit tonight. Jooris looked strong too.

Happy to see the team in games now as opposed to being run over. It's coming...

He might not have stolen the game but he was pretty solid when the rest of the team wasn't. I know you're not a fan of the guy, but he's one of the last people you should be discrediting tonight.

Anyways...
