#### the honda center so bad and #### that curse. It's the stupidest thing is all of pro sports and IT ENDS TONIGHT!!! Take this game boys and have at least 1 more game in front of the home fans. Tonight I'm not even going to stress while watching the game. Deep in my heart, I know they will win. We got this.
Flames have got the Ducks right where they want 'em. End the curse tonight, no way they lose at home, and then game 7 becomes a coin flip. Go Flames Go!
Win one game -- game 5 -- and this series is back within the Flames reach.
The fact of the matter is that this team has been preparing for this game all season. The comebacks, the seven game segments, having the next man step up when someone gets injured, overcoming adversity and never quitting. This is their ultimate test -- facing elimination -- and there is nothing to hold back tonight because there may be no tomorrow.
Win or lose, this team is going to learn a lot about themselves tonight and the only way to get that kind of education is to play in games like this. Go get 'em Flames -- we support you all the way to the finish!
Talked to a buddy of mine (who is an oilers fan) yesterday and he said I must still be choked the Flames lost at home in game 4. You know... just trying to rub it in, kick us while we are down. I just laughed though. No matter how you look at it... it's all positive from here on out for the Flames. Lose tonight (or game 6 or 7), we look back and say the season was a huge success. The team gained invaluable experience, our young guys have grown leaps and bounds, and from an organizational standpoint we have a 15th overall 1st round draft pick in our arsenal. On the flip side... say the flames win this series. Yes we don't get a mid round draft pick BUT just the experience of coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the top team in the West is something that would stay with the players for the rest of their careers. Talk about "learning how to win"... that would almost be the ultimate definition of learning how to win (next to winning the cup).
I'm not giving up hope yet... still want to see the Flames pull this one out. Go flames go.
Boring Sean Monahan @boringmonahan
I told mom happy Mother's Day. I asked her what she would want for dinner if I could take her out and she said duck. I said very funny mom.

as long as there is no hot shot refs trying to dictate the outcome of the game I will enjoy this game no matter the outcome GFG!!!!
Well, you're going to be dsappointed then.
This is the NHL. Games are "managed" by the officials. And the Flames are playing a team from California.
Expect Flames goals to be disallowed and penalties to be called in the Ducks favour. For the team to win, they will not only have to beat the Ducks but the refs as well.
It's not something we should complain about. After all, the calls went our way against Vancouver (Heck, one of our refs in that series was Auger's current business partner. How much more can you ask for?).
My BOLD prediction. If the Flames win tonight, they take the series. Before the season in a bold prediction thread, I picked the Flames to be knocked out it the semi final by the Hawks. I also pegged Gaudreau as ROY and to score 65 points. I have been close with predictions for once, and I see no reason why I won't get this one too.
Being down 3-1 in a series is no big deal for these guys. They have beat the odds like a rented minivan all year, and they will continue to make the experts throw their arms up in the air tonight.
With the curse and the prospect of elimination, it really wouldn't be Flames hockey without a super important Flames goal having to go to the situation room for review.
