Tough break for the Lightning. If the on ice officials let that go it's a goal.

Yep. Tough break for sure but what can you do? On ice official made his call, not much they can do about it.

Go Habs. Hockey doesn't belong in Florida...and the Bolts beat us for the Cup in '04. Easy choice

Absolutely the right call though, which is the way it should be.

Man - the Wild suck! Down 3-0 in the first. How embarrassing.

Exactly, and Tampa Bay has proven this with their top 5 league attendance for the last ten years.

Is there ever a whistle in Montreal that doesn't get booed by these dummies?

It's amazing how often the Habs seem to "bump" the goaltender. And never seem to get called. Smart play if they're going to get away with it. Someone should try it on Price, see if the converse is true.
ETA: At least Desharnais is doing it the fair way with the puck! Ouch!

Interesting that the Habs are getting in Bishop's face at every opportunity. I know he has had their number this year, but not sure they want to get into a goaltender running game with anyone...

If a Tampa player sneezed on Price it would be 2 minutes...Habs always get away with goaltender interference. Plus, I think the no-goal was the right call, but if it was the other way around I would wager it would have been a good goal for Montreal.

I'm not sure where the alleged penalty bias with Montreal comes from.
The past? Hab hate? Regardless - It's really inaccurate and untrue.
Habs were -14 this year, pp for vs against.
No idea where that stands, but would be toward the bottom of the league I would guess.
Flames were +69 to lead the league, btw.

All this panel talk about the offside is missing the point. Plenty of calls are missed every period. The only ones that really suck are ones that directly result in goals, especially in outcomes (see: Brett Hull in the crease).
This was undoubtably a missed call, but there was no advantage gained by the offside, and that bending of the rules had essentially no impact on the ensuing play. If you want to go back and talk about all the missed calls in a game and all their potential possible outcomes, sure, but that's a much more convoluted discussion because of all the incidents.

^ Absolutely
That talk is about as dumb as calling it 'karma' when Tampa scored in the 2nd OT.
Karma for a correct no goal call?
It was missed. Calls are. Offside will never ever be part of any review - so when it is missed, move along. I guess that's their job, but...
