Fireball snowcones:
1) Place bottle of fireball in freezer until syrupy
2) make snowball (not too firmly packed.
3) Pour fireball "syrup" over snowball.
Eat. Repeat. Enjoy.

Oreo Truffles:
1 package of Oreo Cookies
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese
Good dipping chocolate (I use Bernard Callebaut bittersweet baking chips (drops?)
Throw the cookies and cream cheese into a food processor, whiz together until well mixed. Roll into balls and dip into melted chocolate. Throw into the fridge so they harden well. Can be frozen and are even more tasty when frozen.
Another favourite are toffee tarts. I can't recall the tart recipe off the top of my head, but it's essentially a shortbread base, pressed into mini muffin tins and baked. Then you melt together 8 packages of Macintosh's toffee and 2 cups of whipping cream, and pour into the tart shells. Again, they freeze well.

I actually don't know how to make them, and that's probably a good thing

You can also replace the butterscotch chips with semi-sweet chocolate and use the regular non-fruity mini-marshmallows for something akin to a marshmallowy peanut butter cup.

I believe I found the name of them: Kniepertjes. New Years Cookies. They can be flat waffles (and then turned into stroopwafel) or rolled up and filled with chocolate or cream.
http://www.thedutchtable.com/2013/12/kniepertjes.html
That's just one variation though. I've seen the cinnamon taken out and replaced by rum. I've seen anise put in instead of cinnamon. The rest of that ingredient list is pretty much the same as the rest and so are the directions. I think you can essentially flavour the wafel however you want and fill it as you please.

Pop some popcorn, spread it out onto wax paper. Melt some white chocolate melting wafers, and drizzle over the popcorn. Sprinkle crushed candy canes (or peppermint candy) over it while the chocolate is still melted. When it's cooled, break it up. This stuff is seriously addicting!

These and Ferrero Rocher are pretty much the only chocolate that I sort of like, and it's rare that I want either. Not a big fan of chocolate.

So good.

8 bars Mackintosh toffee
4 tbsp butter (NOT margarine)
6 tbsp evaporated milk
20 Three (3) inch tartshells, prebaked
20 chocolate rosebuds
On low heat, slowly melt the toffee, butter and evaporated milk. When completely melted and no lumps remain, pour into prebaked tartshells. Top with a rosebud and let set.

Made these tonight. Doubled up and it made 60 tarts by using a Hershey's kiss and putting it in the base of the tart and pouring around it. Very straightforward and they are excellent.
Now to hold off eating them all for a week.
Thanks!

Bumping this. Tis the Season.....again. I made a couple of these last year. Sin in a Tart Shell are outstanding and easy (Post #19). I think I will try a variation of the Oreo Truffles this year.

Here is great one I found this year. Very easy to make and sooo good:
Pots de Creme:
1 bag Semi-Sweet or dark Chocolate Chips
4 whole Eggs
1 Tablespoon Grand Marnier, More To Taste (optional)
1 dash Salt
1 cup Very Hot Strong Coffee
Fresh Whipped Cream, For Serving
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the chocolate chips into a blender. Crack in the eggs, then add Grand Marnier and salt. Blend for a few seconds, or until combined.
Pour the hot coffee in a thin stream through the blender lid until it's all added. Blend another few seconds, or until smooth.
Pour mixture into small cups or jars, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled and set.
Top with plenty of sweetened whipped cream.
