In fairness, in this mood the Blues would blow away far better teams than Edmonton. They are superb and there is so much chemistry between some of their players.
1 zip Jets in Boston tonight. Hutch is fantastic. Really don't get why he isn't the #1 in Winnipeg, but, his increased starts is a good place to ... start (austin powers?)

Hutch is playing great, and will only get better. I can foresee him stealing the starting goalie job from Pavelec by mid January at the latest. 1-0 Jets.
Drew Remenda seems a little pissed at the Oilers. Bitching about how slow they were to change on the Blues goal, and commenting "See? Every St Louis player moves his feet".
Then at the horn ending the first period, he finishes with a simple "Wow..."
That toe-drag turnover by Hall that resulted in the Blues' 1st goal was a thing of beauty. Never change Oilers, keep playing for that Memorial Cup.
That wasn't even the worst part. Turns it over, that happens. Not bothering to hustle coming back or to change? That shouldn't happen. GaSM is stuck at zero with that goof
That goal is just so bad and doesn't end up on highlight packages.
The change is bad. I'm watching the blues feed and they didn't mention the change at all but you could tell what was happening just by looking at the players.
The turnover, though:
It's a 2-2 after a long shift in your defensive zone. You're in a low scoring position with defenders covering you and your teammate who just passed you the puck. You're in the faceoff circle. You decide to try to toe-drag dangle through the defenders legs, and cut back towards the net?
Everything about it screams selfishness. It's selfish to try to turn that into a scoring play after such a long, intensive shift. It's selfish to try to dangle and carry it in yourself. It's selfish to not put it into the corner and go for a change, or even to just put the puck on net. It's selfish to coast to the bench on the linechange as your teammates eat the minus stat.

Not impressed at all.
Well, he's been watching San Jose for years. He had no idea what he was in for this year.

Every one of Principe's interviews with people outside of the Oilers organization could be summed up with one question:
"Can you please say something nice about the Edmonton Oilers?"
