Pretty sure Gaudreau has been on the third line nearly every game so far for matchup purposes. He's not getting punished - our third line is weak due to injuries. Sheesh.

What. The. Fata.

Don't worry JH will get his PP time.

If Byron misses his 4th break away this season I will streak the entire length of the Red Mile.

No... I didn't think he was being punished. It just seems like a waste.

HOWEVER, on sober second thought... maybe Johnny is playing well enough now that he can get those guys going?

Didn't he play with Byron most of last game?

What. The. Fata.
I would imagine Hartley will switch the lines up if things aren't working out too well. Maybe Hartley wants to try out Johnny with Seto again to see if he can get him on the board. There was one game where he was setting up Seto like crazy and Seto just couldn't capitalize. Maybe this could be the night.

As people have mentioned in other GDT's, the lines almost always aren't the same as the game is going.

Yeah I was going to say - he seemed to have good chemistry with Byron....and Setoguchi?..well someone has to play with Setoguchi. Monahan drew Jones and Ferland gets to play with Hudler and Granlund. That leaves Seto for Johnny. All in all pretty fair

I'm REALLY excited to see if Johnny can put together two awesome games back to back.

All about Granlund. I get the feeling Ferland is going to be a bit pensive for the first half of the game and start to come around in the last half.

3-1 Flames, Goals by Granlund, Monahan and Hudler. Hiller has another fantastic outing keeping his starting position.

Jokinen 's mullet is free flowing in warmup without his helmet on, it is a beauty!

Surprised Edmonton didn't go after him. He would fit in brilliantly. Signing bonus could be unlimted sweatpants for the duration of his contract.

Surprised McGrattan is in the Byron and Granlund lines look like they will need to play sheltered minutes and with McGrattan on that 4th line you can't have them taking defensive zone draws.

I think Monahan/Gkencross will be getting s lot of ice time tonight.

Interesting to see how Ferland does tonight he is the perfect fit for the "new" enforcer role, a tough guy that potentially can play a legit shift in the NHL.

I think Ferland is more than just a tough guy who can play a regular shift.
