Mansbridge now at 8:39 for the first time suggesting there may be unconfirmed reports he confronted with soldiers after the initial shooting.

Global Calgary just retweeted a tweet saying the suspect is dead, but they and 770 have been kinda just retweeting everything.

Twitter reporting this is the car he drove to the hill, but was hijacked after shooting the soldier outside the War Memorial - not his car. Still unconfirmed reports.

The description of the shooter seems to be varying quite a bit. Someone said that he was tall with a white bandana and others are saying short with a black and white scarf. Eyewitness descriptions tend to be unreliable, but they probably need to assume more than one shooter until they sort it all out.

Yeah. I was waiting for her to correct that thinking maybe she got it wrong... but nope. It sounds like at least 30 shots fired within the building.

The frantic nature of police behind her in the live shot suggests this is not contained yet.
