Way to alienate the depth veterans who are supposed to bring stability to the club.

Could be that Brookbank won't sign a two way deal and will only sign if he makes the club. If Potter comes in and beats him out for the 7th spot, he doesn't sign and goes elsewhere. Treliving has to look out for the best interests of the hockey club and not worry about hurting feelings, it's just business.
