In December I was in Seattle and went to the Metropolitan Market near Key Arena. They had a huge selection of beers, with many of them being craft beers. The guy working the section was excellent and pointed us to a bunch of beers we had never heard of before. We picked up a 12 pack, but the best part was, they were all singles and each was a different brand. Every beer they sold there was available in a single bottle, and there was no up charge for breaking a case. It was a better selection than most bars and many liquor stores and the most expensive bottle was $1.33. The Safeways down there are also stocked with similar selections, although it is tougher to break cases there.
