At this point, I really hope the reason Cammalleri was kept out of the game is because Burke has a deal in place but the other team is playing tonight and needed to play the player they're sending back, like Sutter did with the Jokinen trade to the Rangers.

Butler lucky there. Trying to be SOB or Bobby Orr.

Would be hilarious if we tie their shot total from last night.

The Sharks are such a weird team. At times they can look like the best team in the league for 2+ weeks, then for another 2 weeks they can look worse than Edmonton.

They just always start super hot and it's all "Sharks! ... it's their year, this is it!" and then they go cold and then sort of meander through the rest of the year.

I suspect a few of the top teams will be lulling heading into the Olympic break. Following the Olympics is when we will really see these teams like the sharks really turn up the pressure.

I'm loving the effort by the Flames so far. They're skating hard and winning all kinds of puck battles. Good stuff!

I'm really liking the Maher/Loubardias team on the radio.

Those guys have had bad luck for years. I think they've been beaten by every western team in the playoffs since their creation.

Man, if only that Backlund could skate, he'd be someone Burke could appreciate.

Shots 12-8 for the Flames.

I guess the Oilers tired them out last night.
