Asus is notorious for terrible customer service. You're better off trying your luck on google before asking them for help.

Anyone have the new Shaw router? I'm getting one on Thursday.

The CISCO one is terrible, so hopefully the new one sorts out the wireless issues.

Does anyone know if an average download connection speed of 42.7 Mbps and an average upload speed of 4.1 Mbps is any good?

Also on my PS4 when i go to test connection, i get a scroll on the bottom telling me that my router might not support IP packet fragmentation and some of the network feature could be restricted, anyone know how to fix that?

much appreciated

I recently purchased the Asus Dual-Band N900 Gigabit Router. I've had it a month now, and no complaints. I had to pickup a repeater to get a few dead places in the house. Other than that, it's been great.

We've got the laptops using the 5gHz channel and the smartphones on the 2.4 channel.

Still couldn't get any assistance from Asus tech support today and was so frustrated that i actually called Linksys tech support just to see if the first person i got on the phone was knowledgeable about routers and i was pleasantly surprised. I returned the RT-N66U to Staples and bought the Linksys WRT1900AC Smart WiFi Router from Future Shop. I finished setting it up a few hours ago and so far I'm pretty impressed, wireless devices are extremely fast and playing BF4 on the PS4 there was no lag at all.
