Ha Ha stupid Oilers. Looks like those motivational posters in the dressing room have really had an effect. What a great goal.

I bet people in Detroit are looking at Hudler and Filppula and thinking, 'you know the grass isn't always greener...' These are players that have been taught to play the game in one of the best systems and it shows when they go to play on other teams.

The sharks would probably trade rosters with the oilers if they could...

Just think about that if you're a STH, dropping $200 each game for a pair of tickets

That's it, if they can't score there they're never scoring again.

Yeah I sort of understand letting Hudler go but not Filppula. He had been groomed so long in the system just to let get when he is getting in to his prime? Just a bad move.

That was just hilarious. Smyth puts the wraparound on the line - crosses through the whole crease without going on and the keeper out of position. Delicious.

If the teams ahead of them continue at their current pace, the Oilers would need a 29 game winning streak just to catch up to 4th place in the division (8th in the conference).

3 on 1 and they try to make it pretty. At this point just shoot the puck and charge the net hoping for rebounds.

This is the most unintentionally hilarious hockey game I've seen. 3 on 1. No SOG.
