MEH. The Pacific tour of hell is over now. Dallas is a better team than people give them credit for. I'll tuck that win against L.A in my pocket and walk away happy the entire thing wasnt a total disaster.

One thing that seems fairly obvious though, two too many vets among the Forward ranks and some real help on D is needed. Theres a deal to be done here and I for one would love to see it done sooner rather than later.

Not saying by any stretch that they should deal for the sake of dealing but if a good one comes along that requires a couple guys to move one, then do it. The more new faces the better.

And Glencross better go and do something to redeem himself soon or move on himself.

I'm not upset that Sven got scratched. I'm upset that there seems to be a different scale used for judging veteran players vs. young ones. What has Glencross done to prove that he deserves the ice time that he's getting? I'll accept a rebuild centered around talented youth who while they may make mistakes, at least you can see some effort. I won't tolerate a rebuild around centered around watching the likes of Glencross and Jackman coast around for their entire shift not giving a damn

Country club atmosphere will creep back into dressing room, if you allow Glencross to continue to play this way...

As for the game there will be plenty of games like these. Hell it was not so bad considering last years team would have no-showed for 3 games on a 5 game road trip.

You mean the team that lost 9-0 vs Boston, or the same squad that lost 9-1 to the Sharks?

People are going to question Hartley, and rightfully so, but the pain of this loss is nowhere close to the spanking that Brent's teams endured, even with the bad defense.

Very True, I'm glad someone else noticed other than myself. The veterans on this team have turned the puck over time and again, and still get the ice time. No repercussion. Our defensemen are atrocious, it's fine to break up ice or try the stretch pass, but there's no finish on this team, particularily with Sven out of the lineup. Our defensemen seem to think they're all Paul Coffee's out there. Take the damn body, and stay back once in a while, use the break up ice as a surprise, not on every damn rush.

Lets not forget that these are the 2013/14 Flames. The reason why they don't look great is because they aren't. 4-4-2 and 8 out of 10 games decided by 1 goal. I'll take it.

The reason why the Flames are 6th in a 7 team division is because so far they have over achieved.

Two years later in a game we just lost 5-1 and that score may have flattered the Flames and you go with the Brent Sutter insult? Let it go man.

I'm talking effort by the players. Could care less about the Sutter days.

Well, if the Flames play like this and win as much as they did in this road trip, they'd be in good shape for a nice rebuild. I'm OK widdat! Let's hope Baertschi get back into the lineup and take Glencross out.

Players need to be traded. There are simply too many bodies when the team is healthy.

Also, the 7th place Oilers are very bad at hockey.
