What a great way to announce his return to the game for another season and for the price tag that's very team friendly considering he's still going to pot a point per game.

Love Selanne. Him, Sakic, and Yzerman are my all time favorite non Flames players. Just one of those guys where no one has a bad thing to say about them.

I remember being so excited when there was talk the Flames could sign him when Winnipeg were bumbling to get him inked up.

I think the Flames with Teemu would have won another cup, they were stacked even without him. All those goals!

I agree with the best European player ever sentiment. It doesn't just boil down to his on ice performance, but his dedication, and character. As a Flames fan, I should absolutely hate the guy, as I have lost count on how many times the guy has single handedly handed us a loss. But he is one of those rare players like Sakic, Yzerman or Linden, that is impossible to hate, no matter what colours they are wearing.

Admire this re-upping. Just is able to create some amazing space on the ice on the offensive zone and has a lot of hustle. I agree that by all means love for your team should trump your liking him, but he is one of those players with the magic.
