Jose Bautista (back) is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday.
Bautista initially felt his back spasms on Sunday and was held out of the lineup Monday. The Blue Jays suspect that it could have something to do with his recent transition to third base, so it's possible he'll see less time there than initially anticipated. Brett Lawrie is due back from the DL soon and will see most of his playing time at the hot corner. Apr 15 - 8:24 PM

Brett Lawrie just walked into #Bluejays clubhouse with a loud "Hey! Hey! Hey!" #Jays #WelcomeBack

Gibbons says #BlueJays want to give Jose Bautista another day to rest his back. He's also fighting an ear infection.

JPA has really looked like an MLB caliber catcher this year. Much improved outside of that first game.

That play with Brett to end the inning shows how much we missed his glove on the infield

Tough luck for the hitters tonight, we have had at least 4 or 5 very hard hit balls that went straight at a glove.

No idea why Gibbons took out Rasmus for that plug Davis. Rasmus was 2/3 with an HR, Davis 0-2 with a SO and pop out.

Game over one out later.

Good start by Johnson (longest by a Jays starter this year) wasted.

That sucked. Our lineup loses a lot of its potency with these injuries.

That's the second time Delabar had walked a bunch of batters. Taking out Rasmus was strange for Davis. Oh well. Starters are looking great now. It would be nice if we had healthy line up.

Reyes' replacement for now and his antics from last year. Funny guy.

Starters are playing ... now we need some damn runs. I really hope it's not going to be a roller coaster year of injuries and inconsistent play
