^ I liked that jersey mainly because it was replacing the black horse-head jersey, but I've never been a fan of the black C. I don't think it comes close to the 80s ones.

I always had a soft spot for the LA burger king ones. Those dallas ones (cup winning jerseys) are just amazing.

Any team that chose to use black as their primary colour, basically made the worst jersey in their franchise history. Granted there are some teams that look great in black.
Most teams have an identity with their colours. Teams should have an identity with their colours. When the NHL went black, it just made every team look like every other team. Funny, this direction totally negates the used of colour television. If it is just black vs white in every game, why not watch on a black and white TV?
Let me use the Kings as an example. Gold and purple, royal colours, that is all you need. Once they tried to match the Raiders, they lost their identity. They had purple for a while a few years ago, but now are back to the black and white (you can barely see the silver). And, that stupid 'homebase' logo is one of the worst in NHL. Looks so much better today, in their retro purple and golds. Speaking of Pacific Division...they all have black jerseys.
I love it when teams have the balls to use yellow, orange, or green as their darks. I looks great on my colour TV.

God those 90's era Jofa buckets were terrible, in fact all Jofa buckets have been terrible. What do I know, I think the cooperall look was outstanding! specifically the Whalers with the cooperalls and also the Calgary Wranglers with the cooperalls.

I wish EA sports would have the option of all the old Flames jerseys to be worn.
My favourite ones are the 2004 Black C jerseys no question. With a close second to the dark Dallas Stars jerseys from 99 as well.
