Cammalleri - Tanguay - Iginla
Glencross - Horak - Stempniak
Comeau - Jackman - Begin

Yeah it's cute that we can have an all Czech line and everything, but I actually don't think Horak works well between the other two guys. I would actually prefer if we can play Horak as a winger, but unfortunately, we don't have that luxury on this team.
i think stajan has played well regardless of his linemates this year, whether it be between the czechs or glencross/stempniak.

Tanguay has been meh, when he's not on his game, he looks TERRIBLE. i'd move him on the wing on a line wiht stajan/iginla.

it is in the flames best interest to get iginla going, putting him on a line wiht our best playmaker (tanguay) who is not having to play a position he's struggling with, and our strongest center, seems like a good thing to try.

I don't know, save for a few games, I find Tanguay has been consistently decent as a centre. He is our top scorer so far this season for a reason. I would much rather he play on the wing, but with our limited options up the middle, I see no other choice.

I don't understand the line of thinking that Iginla has to be forced into playing well. Hudler has been outstanding for us this season, why not give him every opportunity to succeed and let Iginla get out of the funk with team mates he has proven chemistry with? It's not like playing him with Tangs and Cammy equals playing with scrubs.

Never thought I'd see a game where Stajan scores 2 for the Flames, lol.

I don't hate him anymore.

Rip the "A" off of GlenX & put it on Stajan's sweater. He deserves it this season.

Favorite Matt Stajan highlight. I actually play this from time to time before my games for motivation.

Good Game for Stajan.

Hopefully he can land us a 2nd + prospect if we are out by the deadline

Who would have thought that the two most consistent players would be Matt Stajan and Jay Bouwmeester?

I wonder if Brent Sutter was watching the game tonight and thinking he should have given Stajan more of an opportunity.

No, he's too stubborn to even think it, but Darryl is probably tweeting him saying:...told ya so!

Stajan leads the team in +/- at +7 and it's not even really close.

Tanguay has the worst +/- at -6.

I think we know who needs to be on the top line.

Is playing himself out of buy-out candidacy....already has IMO.

Good for him, seems like a real good guy.

He also leads in takeaways, hits and faceoffs. Hits surprised me....but this is a softer than soft team.

This thread is refreshing and perplexing.

Stajan was good when Jokinen went down and the Cammalleri at center experiment was also derailed, 9 points in 11 when actually given opportunity and deployed right.

Cervenka supplanting Iginla as top line RW is flat out nuts. Hardly worth dignifying with a response.

Bouw has improved offensively but is still not great defensively - up among league leaders in GA. His assist tonight on Tanguay's goal was nice but came after his bad pinch, Minnesota flubbing the resulting 2 on 1, and then his late return putting him in position to make that pass.

Getting back to Stajan, nice to see him vindicated.

Actually, Bouwmeester has been very good in all aspects of the game, consistently.
