Then of course you will have a bear problem on your hands and the problem there is that unlike gorillas you can't just wait for winter to kill them off. They will lay down and look dead but come spring they will be back and looking for food. If you don't have more wasp nests to feed them you should probably just move.
That's another reason why Gorillas > Grizzlies when it comes to household pest removal.

I know how you can torch or remove those buggers and safely record it for YouTube. Your neighbours will think you're a lunatic but who cares? I ride a motorcycle and had to dispose of a nest. I put all my gear on, including visor helmet, suit and gloves. I covered the space under the visor with cloth and just scooped up the nest. They kamakazied into my visor but I didn't care.

Add a video camera and, voila, you're set to go. If you don't have bike gear, borrow some.

Note: I'm severely allergic to stings so had to be sure this would work and it was a stroke of genius. You're welcome.

If you start your bbq the way you normally do...
1. Open lid
2. Turn on gas
3. Light gas

The little rascals will have time to escape before the temperature gets too high... in fact you will probably just piss them off.

What you have to do is this....

1. Leave BBQ lid closed
2. Turn on gas and leave on for a few minutes... wait til you can smell the gas real easy.
3. IGNITE GAS!!!

That will fix your problem ... and it'll be exciting to watch!

I post this in every infestation thread that gets started and I'm not about to stop now:

Peter Griffin: There's only one thing to do - learn the language of the fleas wasps, earn their trust, and breed with their women. And in time our differences will be forgotten.

I had this exact 'problem' one spring. It was the easiest thing in the world to solve.

Step 1: turn on gas
Step 2: ignite gas
Step 3: BLAMO.

No wasps found an exit before the burgers went on. One of the most delicious BBQs ever, because you knew that every little bit of beef was flavoured with the suffering and pain (plus whatever wasps are made of) of an entire colony of #######s. Delicious.
