I hate when the line gets screwed up because someone wants their sub toasted and the guy behind him doesn't. Then the guy who is toasting his sub still wants to be first in line even though the guy behind him is ready to add veggies. It's chaos!

This is how subs get mis-assigned.

It would be so easy for the toaster just to step aside and allow one person to go ahead.

The toaster should go to Quiznos.

The best part about egg sammiches (and eggs in general) is the incredibly offensive toots you get later on in the day. Nothing angers the general public more then nasty egg farts.

I worked at Subway when I was in high school. I can't even think about the seafood sub without wanting to hurl. Some lady used to come in and order a six inch seafood with extra mayo and extra cheese, no veggies and would make you put it in the microwave. It was so gross.

Ya I guess it's my fault for wanting proper service now a days.

personally i have always found the seafood sub to be crabtastic, or crabareffic or even crabtacular. no interest in the egg salad though........as an aside was the ceheese tesselated? i find at the nearset subway to me they sometimes tesselate and sometimes not.

When is subway going to bring back the montreal smoked meat?

I don't really go to subway often but the seafood (fake crab) is pretty good if you put extra mayo and honey mustard.

I think the point was everyone makes mistakes, now if you go back and they tell you to screw off, I would say they are not providing proper service.

The Subway toaster isn't even a toaster ... it is simply the most efficient dehydrator in human history.

It turns your bread to ash.

I miss the days when customer service existed.
Sorry to hijack your thread, but those clowns at pizza hut in Hanson Ranch. They use to give you the wrong pizza everytime...their solution?? Start opening the pizza's up in front of the customer before they leave... um couldn't you just mark on the box what's in it. Now you've cooled off my pizza and i still have a 10 min drive home, not to mention last time when you opened the box and a piece came flying out that you narrowly put back in with your dirty cash infested hands

Since this is basically turning into a Subway Transgressions... thread, I thought I'd share my pain.

Anyone ever get an artist that goes crazy with lettuce? I don't mind some lettuce but when they empty the entire box onto my sub then slam the top half on before any can fall out it ruins the sandwich.

Also, their mustard and mayo control can sometimes be unbelievable, like comon', who puts 4 thick passes of each on a sub?

Also the I second whoever said the toasters should go to Quiznos. The toaster destroys the line especially at lunch hour and makes for awkward moments, and was probably the cause of the OP getting a nasty egg salad sandwich.

^^ I've moved to no lettuce and never getting mustard because these people just can't control themselves.

I"m not sure if you aware of this, but for a limited time many of Subway's delicious foot long subs are now reasonably priced at just......wait for it.......$5!!!!!!!!

in addition to that, its either a flood of mayo and mustard, or you get hot sauce, maybe some chipotle, and they take their thimble out and lightly dust the sub, then youre stuck doing "more..." "more........" "MOR ahh forget it."

What i do for lettuce is always say "Just a little bit of lettuce" and its MORE than enough. i guess it makes sense though, load it up with lettuce to make the sub look bigger, skimp on expensive veggies, people think they have a ton of veggies, and really just eat a bunch of lettuce.

and lastly, +1 for tuna subs from subway. If you have 1400 calories to spare, and want a footlong sub of glory. You're in business. (always add hot sauce)

I really can't complain enough about the mustard. Have the people who bathe your sandwich in it ever actually tasted mustard? I mean come on, anything which is a derivitive of something that can be turned into a chemical weapon really needs to be used in moderation. If you overpower my sandwich with a loose trigger finger on the yellow bottle you're pretty much with the terrorists.
