Whats right is right and what's wrong is wrong. ALL people know what's right or wrong for them personally as a opinion. Religion, values, preference or otherwise.

How about if we reframe it to

'its funny how if someone is for not telling other people how to live their lives then they are open minded but if a person is all for telling other people how to live their lives even though it in no way remotely affects them then they are closed minded'.

Does that make more sense?

How is that funny? The grounds for opposing same sex marriage are as far as I can tell traditional and authoritarian. They are founded on the notion that it is somehow detrimental to "family" (whatever that means) and by extension society, yet not with any sort of relevant data or information to support the notion. In my mind, this is the very definition of closed minded.

What a stupid thing to say. All morals are subjective? "Right" and "truth" are a matter of opinion either public or private? Not a chance, and this is never merely a factor of choice as if picking a pair of socks for the day.
