Just like the city of Los Angeles has 3.8 million people (metro area has 15 million), the city of Chicago has 2.7 million (metro population of 8.7 million), and the city of Seattle has 600,000 people (metro population 3.4 million). That's generally what happens when a bunch of independent cities grow into eachother.
Yes, thank you. I am aware of the difference.

That being said, when I travel to the lower mainland I tell people I'm going to Vancouver regardless of what area I'm actually going. Ditto for LA or Chicago or anywhere in the world.

This is getting far off topic. Can't we just agree that Black Friday shopping gets out of hand?

Greed will be the downfall of mankind. And it's starts at Walmart.

That Wal Mart in East Van is more of a grocery store than it is a regular Wal Mart. They have everything in that store, including 25 minute lineups on Saturday afternoons. I hate that store, but it's a 3 minute drive from my place.

No. But do any of them look like they're the kind of people who think logically? They're just impulsive idiots who are living welfare cheque to welfare cheque and want to be star of their housing project for owning some Walmart crap.
