Spoiler!

At this point in the show, my only real complaint is there is little room now for humour. It's just very dark now and throwing in the humour the show had in the first season, probably wouldn't fit all that well, given what has gone down.

You kidding me? I lost it when he threw the pizza on the roof of the house. It landed perfectly!

Yes, that was funny, but those moments are few and far between now. The show is more dramatically driven, and quite dark, and it looks to be heading even further in that direction. I just hope we still get some of the humour thrown in wherever it might make sense.

They should have Frankie Muniz guest star as a meth head.

That would just be sad.

do we really need the spoiler tags?

this stuff happened a year ago, and it's not like game of thrones where there are books that are ahead of the tv show

I agree, we probably don't need them, but it's not like they're a big deal to click.

Additionally, that Game of Thrones thread has turned into a minefield for people like me who are just watching the TV show and not reading the books.

I concur in spades. It's a SEASON FOUR thread. if you're not caught up on the series then don't read this thread!

Is this going to be on any other channel?? My wife went and cancelled Shaw and got Telus, and didn't get a package with AMCHD Thankfully she got me the sports package that I don't need until October.

Sigh.

edit: Or is anybody geeking out and having a Breaking Bad party??

"Fly" was pretty funny too, and that was pretty late in the 3rd season. It does lack the kind of dichotemy it had before with his straight-laced chem teacher life, and his alter ego.

I'm only into season 2, but I find Jesse's smart ass comments hilarious. "I never came to you and said; 'Hey nerdiest old man I know, do you want to cook crystal meth with me?"...

I don't particularly care for the spoiler tags, but I am also not one to ruin anything for anyone either, so I'll use them, not a big deal.

Also, I never said there's no humour, but rather less of it. The show is getting darker and therefore it doesn't lend itself to that kind of levity as much anymore.

"I'd have asked my diaper-wearing granny, but her wheelchair wouldn't fit in the RV."

I don't know if fly was really funny, the premise was humourous I guess, but that was a pretty emotional and nerve racking episode.

Pretty stoaked; Cranston's acting at the end of season 3 was ridiculously awesome. Got the PVR set for the HD feed (Shaw 239), so i'll probably tune in at 8:15 and avoid commercials

Well, not quite what I was expecting. The first half was kind of slow but then the second half made up for it. Good episode overall.
