I'm pretty sure that cbc will stream the games on their website. I don't know if they would also stream the Bold games. I would look in to that option before purchasing Bold. Of course internet quality isn't nearly the same.

cbcsports.ca is streaming every game, you don't need Bold. Bold just shows replays at night. I'm pretty sure you will be able to get archived games online too.

The only games Bold are showing live is the last 8 of the group stage that must be played simultenously.

The 8 games are:
FRA-RSA
NIG-KOR
USA-ALG
AUS-SRB
PAR-NZL
DEN-JAP
PRK-CIV
SWI-HON

Unless you're itching to see those, Bold would be a waste.

Very mature of him. Hes going to get tossed at least once, guaranteed.

I doubt you'll need to purchase Bold for the World Cup, I'm pretty sure it will be unlocked for everyone for free, like it was for the Olympics, when CBC had Olympic coverage.

Obviously not happy about the Nani loss. I was convinced he was going to have a coming out party. Relatively speaking. He's been good at Manchester this season and was the best of a bad bunch during Portugal's qualifying.

No, it's not the end of the world loss. But it's a big one for sure. Simao will fit in nicely in his absence and might have challenged him for the starting spot anyway. Might have.

This was not the start of the morning that I was looking for.

Thats a pretty big blow for Portugal, he has improved a lot this season for Man U and turned in to a very good player with the potential to be great, which didn't seem possible last year

I will take his maturity over the last 12 months when compared to 1 game, the incident yesterday is probly good for him anyway because now Capello and Stuart Pearce can give him clear examples of what teams are going to try and do to him

Spain looked ridiculously good today. 6-0 wi over Poland with six different goal scorers. Also marked the comeback of Fernando Torres who scored minutes into entering the game.

Only question after today is who's Spain's starting eleven?

The World Cup Party has Kicked Off on Univision

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/...entry_id=65157

Back at El Bar, the refulgent tres bellezas juntas (above) - Carolina, Alba and Natalia - chuckled coquettishly in their tight shorts and winked at the camera while cat meowing and spring popping sound effects complimented their fabulous chatter. After ten minutes of viewing in El Bar, it was time to pop another bottle of champagne.

So I guess there are rumours that some players from the Russian team before the match in Maribor went out and had some drinks. Hiddink was with them initially, but left early on hoping for common sense out of his players to not stay too late prior to the match. But I guess they really "got 'er done"... hoping to cruise to victory the next day. What a bunch of idiots... Now Hiddink's gone and Arshavin is being a primadonna, the two guys that were bright spots for the team, so they are not in the greatest shape right now, and I highly doubt they would have even gotten out of the group stage.

Good luck Slovenia, I hope you guys beat US out for second place.
I don't think I can stand to hear Jim Rome talk about how "his boys manned up" again....

Spain are fantastic at every position and have great quality in reserve too. Best all round team at the World cup by far. That doesn't mean they are guaranteed to win it all but they are in with a massive shout imo.
