Detroit probably could have gone another 15 without a run

Hopefully the Mariners drink a ton to celebrate.

Didn't seem like the right call bringing in a guy with a muffin fastball who throws 75% changeups there... but i feel like if that raleigh pop up throw goes to second and keeps the runner at first.. detroit has an open base there and the changeup machine doesn't have to throw one down the pipe 3-2

Yeah that’s an insane thing to claim.
It’s only memorable due to its length and its importance. Not because of its events

Agreed. I wonder if Hinch gambled a bit in trying to play for next game. Detroit's rotation is not nearly as deep as Seattle's so maybe wanted to save Flaherty for a game 1 start.

I like the Jays chances. If they play like they can.

Crazy game. Of the 9 postseason games to go 15 innings the Mariners have been a part of 3 of them and this was the first they’ve won.
Sure hope the Jays don’t become the first ever team to lose to the Mariners in an ALCS.

If Jays have same intensity and focus as they did with the Yanks they will be just fine. Raleigh sure is the same as Judge so walk him. The rest of the Seattle batters don’t line up with the quality of the Yanks.
Having the Mariners gives the Jays some extra motivation. Schenider the chance to right some wrongs he made 3 years ago in that terrible WC game 2 choke job. Same with the players that were part of that.
