I think the cardio theory about Monahan is right. He takes super short shifts. Part of that is that he often follows Dube who takes really long ones so he gets out late but then changes with the rest of his line. But part is I think he is still getting winded.

Here’s a great witness to how the Flames are winning.
They just turned over the puck at Ranger BL and outnumbered the Rangers 5 to 3 by the time the Rangers got to Flames BL.
